From Vision to Impact
Bringing reforms to life
Leadership for Collection Action (LCA) enables organizations to develop and implement reforms by bringing together and empowering key stakeholders across the value chain to work as one team, with a shared vision and commitment to delivering results.
We do this through a proven combination of coaching, 100-day ‘collective action initiatives’, and long-term support. Our approach has been successfully applied in over 15 countries worldwide.
Overcoming the political
barriers to progress
The technical solutions to most policy issues are well known. The core challenge is overcoming the vested and often competing interests of different stakeholder groups essential for success, within and beyond government.
We provide the space and support for multistakeholder teams to find common ground and develop their collaborative and leadership skills so that they can work in a joined-up, results-focused manner and inspire their colleagues to do the same.

Delivering rapid results that catalyze wider, systematic change
A key feature of our approach is that teams commit to delivering practical, tangible results within 100 days, known as ‘collective action initiatives’.
These achievements not only inspire confidence that change is possible, but also provide the momentum for wider, systemic reforms.
Providing long-term support to deepen and sustain change
Significant, sustainable change takes time and often requires adjustments. We draw on our global network of specialists, all with experience of working with governments on change initiatives in various countries, to provide contextually-tailored, long-term support.

Ensuring all initiatives are locally owned and driven
We appreciate that reforms have to be locally owned and driven to succeed. LCA acts as an impartial facilitator, not a strategic director, providing the space and developing the skills that stakeholders need to forge a path forward.

Learning from other countries‘ experiences
There are no cut-and-paste solutions to reform, but there are always lessons to learn from other countries from issues as diverse as health, education, the environment and public financial management. We draw on these insights and, where appropriate, connect stakeholders with relevant countries to gain first-hand experience of them.
